On March 8, 2008, we released our CD Als een vreemde (Like a stranger). This CD contains 13 original Greek tracks, which I either translated directly into Dutch or wrote my own lyrics for. Four tracks were originally performed by Charis Alexiou. The recording of this CD took place in Caspar Falke’s Silvox Studio in Silvolde (Gelderland, The Netherlands). Bert Heikema did the arrangements. Bert also plays - among others – the guitar and the fado guitar. The other members of the band are: Harry Dijkstra (bandoneon); Christiaan Thomasius, Zoe Wallace and Ilsje Merk (cello); Akos Laki, Jan Schoemaker and Alex Simu (soprano saxophone/clarinet); Bert van Erk (double bass), and Behsat Üvez (percussion).
